About Athletesshoes Tree Service and How Referrals Work
Who We Are
Athletesshoes Tree Service is a referral service. We connect homeowners in Hickory, NC and the Hickory area with independent tree removal providers. We do not cut, climb, haul or grind. The provider does all of that.
Why This Site Exists
Tree work is risky. A wrong cut can damage a roof, a fence or a buried line. Many homeowners are not sure who to call or what to ask. This site gives plain safety advice first. Then it helps you reach a provider.
Our Focus on Older Homes
Old house, extra care. Houses with aging roofs, old pipes and past repairs have hidden weak spots. A heavy limb landing in the wrong place can turn a small job into a big repair. We encourage you to tell providers what you know about your home.
How Providers Are Matched
You call or send a request. You share the tree's location, its size and what worries you. We then point you toward an independent provider in our network that may serve your area. Availability depends on the provider and the season.
What We Expect From Providers
Providers in our network are independent businesses. We ask them to:
- Look at the tree and the site before giving a quote.
- Explain the plan in plain words.
- Give a written quote.
- Respect your property and clean up as agreed.
You should still confirm each provider's own license and insurance where your area requires them.
What We Do Not Do
- We do not perform tree work.
- We do not set prices. Each provider sets their own.
- We do not promise a start time.
- We do not handle insurance claims.
Some policies may cover sudden damage from a fallen tree. Check your policy. Providers can often help document damage for a claim.
How We Are Paid
Providers in our network may pay a referral fee when a homeowner is connected with them. The fee does not change what you are quoted. You decide whether to hire anyone.
